Your own piece of Paradise â Six Senses Hideaway Ninh Van Bay
journeyPod is your guide to luxury travel around the world. And around the world and a boat ride later is where we found a âhideawayâ, an island tucked away off the coast of Nha Trang, Vietnam in the middle of the South China Sea.
Ever dream of your own private beach villa, complete with private pool, and private beach, and butler that answers to your every whim? Dream no further. journeyPod has found it for you!
Nha Trang, Vietnam, capital of KhÃnh HÃa province, is located about 280 miles north of Saigon. After youâve trekked around Nha Trang and experienced the fascinating culture, the incredible food, and the most accommodating people, head to a place of total relaxation and privacy. A place so exclusive you need a private boat to travel there. And once you are there, you have nothing to do but relax. journeyPod recommends a Thai massage, performed by Tam, over a babbling brook.
journeyPod sat down with Six Senses Hideaway Ninh Van Bayâs GM, Godfrey Vas, for an inside look at this amazing island property. Although there are only 58 villas on theis island resort, they staff at Hideaway numbers over 470! Thatâs more than 7 staff for each villa…talk about service!
Six Senses Hideaway Ninh Van Bay sister property is located about 30 minutes via boat across the bay on the mainland. Ana Mandara is another journeyPod pick. Be sure to check out the Ana Mandara podcast from a previous show.
For now, Iâll leave you with the tropical sounds of Sugar Fix and their song Private Island.
In Action: Everybody Hates Chris
Now in its fourth season, Everybody Hates Chris — a runaway success for the CW network — “looks more like the Wire or Homicide than it does like any sitcom you’ve ever seen,” notes the show’s Executive Producer Ali LeRoi. Using Final Cut Pro, he’s reduced his dailies costs by as much as $20,000 a week, savings he reinvested — in songs and actors and sets — and “put right back on the screen.”
