June: 4th Annual Asheboro Summer Concert Series - Polecat Creek
JUNE 15, 2008. Asheboro, NC. Polecat Creek is a roots duo that takes its name from a Piedmont North Carolina stream. Kari Sickenberger and Laurelyn Dossett were living in the Greensboro area when they formed Polecat Creek. The group won the neotraditional contest at the Appalachian String Band Festival in 2006. Singular harmony and songwriting are hallmarks of their music. Alcohol is prohibited from this event.

June: 10th Annual Edenton Music and Water Festival

Adds director Bruce McDonald: “Whatever we thought to do with Final Cut Pro, we could do,” he says. “In a way, the film looks like it does because of its radical fluidity. We could not have achieved our vision without it.”
